The "AMAKS Golden Ring" hotel is the largest hospitality object of Vladimir. It is located in a 15-storey building that corresponds to the highest standards of accommodation and service known worldwide. The city tour in Vladimir
Vladimir was founded in 990 by Grand Prince Vladimir. Golden Age of Vladimir started after Andrew Bogolyubskii moved here first capital of the principality, and later of the country, built a white stone Golden Gate and the Cathedral of the Assumption. In this cathedral was set icon, which according to legend, was wrote by the Apostle Luke himself, and that the Grand Prince had brought from Kiev. It is the world famous icon of the Vladimir Mother of God.
During the reign of Vsevolod the Big Nest the city reached the highest point of it's flourishing: St. Demetrius' Cathedral famous for its masterfully carved exterior was build.
In the XII century Vladimir was looted, destroyed and burned by the Mongol-Tatar invaders. Centuries went by, and the city, once a former capital of Russia, has gradually turned into a small, provincial town.
Nowadays Vladimir - is a major industrial center with a population of more than 350 thousand people. Vladimir-Suzdal Reserve, established in 1958 and brings together all the museums of Vladimir, Suzdal and Gus-Khrustalny, is among the ten best museums in Europe. Ancient Vladimir is famous all around the world for its monuments, listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Excursion program: Vladimir Opole, the Museum of Wooden Architecture, the architecture of the Kremlin, the Cross Chamber, Cathedral of the Nativity, St. Euthymius Monastery, Transfiguration Cathedral, the architecture of the Pokrovsky Monastery, visiting the active temples and monasteries of the city. During the tour there is an opportunity to venerate the relics of Saints John and Theodore of Suzdal, mother Sophia of Suzdal and relics of many other saints.
Suzdal is a center of the Vladimir region - located 35 km north of Vladimir, in the Vladimir Opole, on the Kamenka River (a tributary of the River Nerl). The area is about 9 square meters. km, population - 12 thousand people.
Bogolyubovo
The former residence of Andrew Bogolyubsky. Excursion to the Temple Pokrov-on-Nerl (walk on reserved wild nature meadow). Visiting of Bogolyubski nunnery.
Bogolyubovo - an ancient village, situated on the banks of the River Nerl, 10 km from Vladimir. In his princely residence Andrew Bogoliubsky led an active political life: taking ambassadors, concluded political treaties, established trade links.
In the place where the river Nerl flows into Klyazma river, Grand Prince ordered to build a beautiful church of the Intercession on the Nerl in the name of the feast of the Protection of the Virgin.
